About Marblehead Parenting
Supporting Families from Pregnancy to Toddlerhood
We are a team of educators dedicated to the support and learning of early parenting and childhood. We offer classes & community for pregnancy through the newborn, infant and toddler years. Marblehead Parenting provides a comfortable, inviting environment for families to take their prenatal & childbirth classes outside the sterile hospital setting. Once your child is born, our new mom & breastfeeding groups support you on your journey. Finally, our baby playgroups, child development and toddler classes give you a network of teachers and local families for support, education & play. Whatever your parenting needs, we hope we can provide a safe space for you to ask questions, make new friends, and of course – PLAY!
We believe that parenting comes in all shapes and sizes, and parenting styles are adapted to each child’s needs. Each child learns and grows in different ways, and we are here to provide a refuge for families to learn, play and encourage each other. Our goal is to create a community of parents, educators, child development specialists and childbirth professionals to support each family on its journey. It takes a village, and we hope we can become a second family for North Shore families.

Frequently Asked Questions
– YES (we try to)! We know that life with young children is unpredictable. We allow make-up classes within the current session (as long as spots are available in other classes) OR the session immediately following if your missed classes are at the end of the current session.
– Please see our full refund and make-up policies and details here.
– YES! Babies under 6 months are always welcome to attend their sibling’s class at no additional cost. Siblings older than 6 months are half off.
– You are responsible for your child at all times. We do not have “drop off” classes, parties, or events – caregivers attend all of our classes unless otherwise noted (some of our 3yr+ classes are non-parent participating, but we ask adults to remain in the building during the class).
– If we offer a specific “Drop Off” program or childcare option, it will be clearly noted and additional paperwork will be required.
– We ask that you not bring your child to class if you or your child has had a fever (or green boogies), a cough, vomiting, diarrhea within at least 24 hours.
– We do understand that minor sniffles are unavoidable (and sometimes due to teething), but we ask the adult to help wipe noses and cover coughs. We also have tissues, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes that we ask you to use as needed if you think your child has dribbled or sneezed on something another child may touch.
– If you decide to withdraw BEFORE the session has begun, we will issue a refund (minus a $25 fee).
– If the class session has already begun, we will do our best to help you find another class for your child.
– We purposefully keep our classes small, so withdrawing from classes that have already begun puts smaller classes at risk of cancellation.
– Please see our full refund policies and details here.
– There is ample parking in both the lot in front of and to the left of the building at 40 Tioga Way, as well as spots along the street.
